Two of John the Baptist’s disciples came to Jesus inquiring if He was the Coming One. Jesus cited evidence of His ministry for them to relay back to John. “As they departed, Jesus began to say to the multitudes concerning John: “… ‘Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, Who will prepare Your way before You.’ Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.”

“And from the days of John the Baptist UNTIL NOW the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” A modern-day prophet called it a “bulldozer anointing: clearing debris, leveling mountains, filling valleys, straightening crooked places in human hearts.”

When Jesus declared ‘UNTIL NOW,’ it indicated something changed. He had drawn a line of demarcation—letting everyone know that John the Baptist, with his ‘bulldozer anointing’ had finished his purpose. Now the Lamb of God would be offered on the cross. Jesus surrendered His last breath in the words, “it is finished”—and the redemption of mankind began.

Today Christians take hold of the doorknob to the kingdom each time they go into intercession—violently shaking or rattling it to see if it’s an ‘UNTIL NOW’ moment. Who knows if our vehement prayer “for the awakening of the Spiritual Tabernacle of God in the Earth” unlocks the NOW unless we try?

TAKING IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL

In the Old Testament, God drew the line with Gideon and 300 courageous warriors blew their trumpet declaring, “The sword of the Lord and of Gideon!” And in God’s ‘UNTIL NOW’ moment, the camp of Midian was defeated by Gideon and his 300 men.

Likewise, David and his men stood below the impenetrable stronghold of Jebus listening to their taunts meant to humiliate and discourage them from attacking. But it’s God’s appointed ‘UNTIL NOW’ moment and they went to the next level. Joab’s small band of men climbed up an underground water shaft and defeated the Jebusites. “David took the stronghold of Zion (that is, the City of David).”   

In the middle of the last century Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., while advocating nonviolence, courageously sang, “We shall overcome.” Through his unwavering efforts, our nation passed the Civil Rights Act in 1964. He had a dream of healing and regenerating an entire population by eliminating injustice within the soul of mankind “by reaching into and beyond ourselves and tapping the transcendent moral ethic of love.” He had a “bulldozer anointing.” He saw an ‘UNTIL NOW’ moment and marched it to the next level. Thank You God!

WHEN THINGS CAN’T GET ANY WORSE

David and his band of 600 Warriors lived with the Philistines so Saul would stop searching to kill him. After about sixteen months, the Philistines planned to attack Israel. David and his men joined them for the attack but were sent back—the Philistines feared that they might turn on them to fight for Israel and kill them.

David and his warriors returned to their settlement in Ziklag and found it burned to the ground, and their wives and children taken captive. They “wept until they had no more power to weep…Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him because the soul of all the people was grieved… but David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.” (1 SM 30)

When things can’t get any worse and we don’t know what to do or how to cope with our problems, we can learn from David. He learned how to be strengthened in God and created an ‘UNTIL NOW’ moment of change—a TURNING POINT in his life. He not only brought back their wives and children but also the spoils of the enemy. If we can turn to God in our pain and anguish, and strengthen ourselves to totally trust God, we likewise may discover a TURNING POINT that will change everything for us.

DRAWING THE LINE

A line can be drawn by men and women declaring God’s Decree. In 1987, President Ronald Reagan gave a speech before the closed Brandenburg Gate in West Germany saying, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” He recognized an ‘UNTIL NOW’ moment ahead and boldly declared it. Four years later the Berliner’s tore down the wall that opened the way to their freedom.

Another line drawn recently occurred in Israel. Some of the ‘bulldozing anointing’ had already been accomplished in 1967 with the Six-Day War. The US Congress passed a law recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capitol in the 1990’s … but it was waivered every six months until the appointed time—the ‘UNTIL NOW’ moment in 2017 when President Trump signed the waiver. God’s Decree drew the line for it to happen in the year of Jubilee—ordained it so it couldn’t happen until 2017. Our God is in Control.

The “times of the Gentiles” refers to “the period of time when the visible theocratic kingdom on earth is absent.” It does not close until we reach the day God Decreed. God draws the line to begin the new Age. Christians around the globe await in prayer and intercession for evidence of an ‘UNTIL NOW’ moment because they know it is the TURNING POINT that changes everything.

THE TURNING POINT

“The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God’s glorious sons and daughters! For against its will, the universe itself has had to endure the empty futility resulting from consequences of human sin. But now, with eager expectation, all creation longs for freedom from its slavery to decay and to experience with us the wonderful freedom coming to God’s children.”  RM 8:19-21 TPT

The kingdom of heaven operates on Divine Power. If we tap into it, we move in the same miraculous power as Jesus because we are CONNECTED to the same line of authority. This Divine Inner-Force anointing makes us unbeatable and capable of “bulldozing through opposition, uprooting the old to build the new” to awaken the Spiritual Tabernacle of God in the Earth.

Therefore, as one-in-Christ, today’s spiritual Warriors “stand by night in the House of the Lord” and intercede day and night for their brethren. When things can’t get any worse, we lift up our anxiety and grief to God and trust in His absolute control over everything happening around the world.

We stand ‘bulldozer’ ready to “violently take it by force” each day in our prayers and in our passion to participate in the huge TURNING POINT that changes history …

…  that begins a new Age … and “The Restoration of All Things.”
