ABSOLUTE by Karen A Roth
Each year God assigns our local church a word to transform our understanding—similar to wearing rose colored glasses influences ‘how’ we see. Everything that happens to us has purpose, but knowing God is guiding us in a specific direction deepens our growth and measure of rule.
God chose the word ABSOLUTE for us in 2016 and confirmed it. Originally, I had asked God why there’s difficulty in surrendering to His Love. He spoke, “Because you haven’t learned to be ABSOLUTE.”
Our question: How do we become ABSOLUTE?.
==WE CHOOSE WHAT IS RIGHT
(God) raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do ALL My will.” ~ ACTS 13:22
David not only desired to know the will of God, but did every portion of it. The depth of his ABSOLUTE to God determined the extent of his measure of rule. In other words, God found David to be ABSOLUTE in his intention to set up a tent to house the Ark of God in the Earth. Therefore God expanded David’s understanding so he could write the protocol for the Temple of God.
David surrendered to God’s love by determining to do ALL God showed him to do—he did what was right. The way we become more ABSOLUTE is by our determination to love God with our ALL and do what is right.
== GREATEST COMMANDMENT
And (Jesus) answering said, “You shall love the Lord your God with ALL your heart, and with ALL your soul, and with ALL your strength, and with ALL your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.” ~ LUKE 10:27
Surrendering our heart, mind, will, etc. means we become ABSOLUTE. Our character and behavior reflects God in everything we say or do. (…for further study read – THE PRAYER OF LOVE by Dr. Mark Hanby & Roger Roth Sr. … a guidebook for being ABSOLUTE.)
Examples of being ABSOLUTE in our nature:
- ABSOLUTE Love: selfless concern that freely accepts another in loyalty and seeks his good; the fatherly concern of God for mankind; brotherly concern for others.
- ABSOLUTE Purity: free from what perverts, weakens or pollutes; free from moral fault or guilt; blameless
- ABSOLUTE God Consciousness: concern for sensing God in every situation
- ABSOLUTE Honesty: refusal to lie, steal, cheat in any way
Every time we yield to God’s love with all our whole being we become more ABSOLUTE. We are a work in progress. We experience ABSOLUTE by becoming more and more aligned to His purpose. Every time we move in the love of God with our ALL—our ABSOLUTE, we participate in God’s plan for this age.
==THE WHIRLWIND OF GOD
So he said, “You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so.” Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. ~ 2 KINGS 2:10-11
God spoke to us saying, “Are you ready? …the Whirlwind is coming!” The Whirlwind is the initiatives of God in action.
Prophetically, whirlwind refers to the turning wheels of God. Elijah went up in the whirlwind, a chariot of fire. Likewise the whirlwind moves in us to accomplish the will and purpose of God.
The whirlwind is coming!” was an awakening call to us. It’s time we become absolute. The Body of Christ must become ABSOLUTE to accomplish the plan of this Age.
ABSOLUTE causes a readiness in us to embark on a bold new adventure. Are you ready?
